GÏEJE
FOOTPRINTS
A performance built on the dramaturgy of the traditional sámi chanting, the Yoik. We meet 5 women who knows how to survive and to make use of everything and everybody that comes their way. They do yoiks in traditional ways and make up new ones. They live by the nomadic tradition: “never own more than you can carry with you” And with them is, a very useful handyman whom they organize. Everything happens and there is no defined beginning and no defined ending, as the Yoik.
