After Covid-19 hindered them from organising the festival Festspillene på Helgeland for two years, they sought a spectacular opening.
The Motive for the Festival 2022 was Bevegelse = Movement. Meaning everything moves and after the pandemic, we all start to move again after being “on pause” and on hold for pandemic increase or decrease for so long. The idea was born, the idea of man and machinery working together, having a meeting point in the delicate Swan Lake ballet, the contrasts of the soft and the strong merging together and inspire for new ways of moving and lifting each other.
